Christmas lunch

Mmmm, yum yum! We had our Christmas lunch this week. We sang some songs and ate lots of lovely Christmas food.

Make a skeleton

As part of our 'Superanimals' topic, we looked at the human body and our skeleton. We thought about all of the bones in our body and used our large skeleton called Wilberforce to investigate further. We made a hospital role play to use in class too. These are some of our skeletons. We also created our own picture of a skeleton using cotton buds.

Toys past and present

We explored a range of different toys from the past and present. We realised that many older toys we still play with, like skipping ropes and trains but technological toys keep changing.

Weight

We weighed objects from around the classroom. Which are lighter? Which are heavier? How do you know?
