Doubling

We used Numicon shapes to work on our doubles in Maths today. We found two of the same shapes and put another shape over the top to see how much it came to. For example, we found out that if we put two 5 shapes together we could make the 10 shape so we could see that double 5 is 10. Some of us were able to record these doubles as addition sentences (5 + 5 = 10).
