Classroom plan

We are now settled into our new classroom in the mobile, but what does it look like? We thought about what furniture we have and how it is positioned. We thought up positional words (also called prepositions) like on, under, on top of, beside, next to, above, below.

We imagined we were a bird flying into the room. What would our classroom look like from a 'birds eye view'. Where would the furniture be in relation to the doors, windows and role play area. We then worked in groups to create the classroom plan using objects.


The following day we then created and drew the plan of our classroom.
